We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
I guess we should have just stuck with old England. We have none of these rights ... at least they have some.

As the son of a truck driver, I have lived the American dream.
I served in the armed forces (Marines), graduated frm college, raised three children and own land near Asheville.
The American democracy is vibrant and messy. Once the state sponsored school systems collapse due to their own ineptitude, we will get back on the right course of individualism and stop all the pseudo-socialistic, big government
interference.
What is it you don't understand about the "land of the free and the home of the brave"?
